In celebration of the recent release of her solo album Catherine Lan, Incandescent Piano Recital on Centaur Records CRC 3457, pianist Catherine Lan presents a recital of music by Frédéric Chopin. The program comprises works from many of Chopin’s celebrated compositional forms, including nocturnes, mazurkas, scherzos, waltzes, and sonatas. Lan has performed as a soloist with orchestras in Canada and the United States, and has given concerts in Asia, Europe, and North America. This recital marks her Carnegie Hall debut.
